Alison Jo Guss
Alison has thirty years of experience directing and producing vibrant, emotionally resonant documentaries for broadcast and museum exhibition. Her work is featured in permanent exhibitions of some of the nation’s most visited institutions, including the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, National Museum of African American History and Culture and National Portrait Gallery, along with the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration, the Statue of Liberty Museum, Ford’s Theatre, and others. Prior to her museum work, she was Senior Producer for the in-house production team at A+E Networks, overseeing hundreds of hours of programming for A+E and its sister network, HISTORY.
