Tom Fitz to speak at the Environmental Studies Center’s DEEP DIVE 2026 LEARNING SERIES in Jensen Beach, FL 

Tom is a multiple Emmy Award-winning cameraman whose work has aired on PBS, BBC, National Geographic, and others, and has been exhibited in museums including the Smithsonian. With more than 35 years of experience in natural history filmmaking, his projects have taken him around the world. In 2004, he began producing his own films, earning numerous awards, and in 2008 co-founded Schoolyard Films with Karina Fitz to educate students and inspire environmental stewardship. Inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame in 2021, Tom now devotes himself full-time to Schoolyard Films–trying to save the world, one film at a time.
