Amy Giannotti will speak at the 72nd Annual Boston Sea Rovers Symposium, taking place March 13–15, 2026 in Danvers, MA, where she will be presenting: “Caring for Oceans, Near and Far: Empowering the Next Generation” on behalf of Schoolyard Films, Inc.

Saturday & Sunday – Daytime Seminars & Workshops
Saturday evening – World Famous Film Festival

This event is especially meaningful to Amy because she has been affiliated with the Boston Sea Rovers since 2003, and it remains one of the highlights of her career. Being named a Sea Rover in 2009 is a distinction she holds with immense pride, and she is grateful to be part of an organization that not only supports her own work, but has long championed and elevated the efforts of COUNTLESS individuals striving to protect our magnificent blue planet. 💙🌎

For more than 70 years, the Boston Sea Rovers have advanced their mission to raise the level of knowledge of the underwater world by deepening public understanding and appreciation of our marine environment. Using diving as a powerful tool for scientific research, exploration, and conservation…they bring together world-class speakers, filmmakers, scientists, explorers, and ocean advocates.

If you care about our oceans – or simply love the wonder of the underwater world – you won’t want to miss this incredible gathering!
